Liberals Attack Clarence Thomas- AGAIN!: The L.A. Times has apparently decided to try to destroy Clarence Thomas. Today in their on-line edition "LATIMES.COM", they attack his character for accepting gifts, and then reporting them in compliance with law. When they point out that the gifts are legal, they fall back on 'why would someone give Clarence Thomas a gift if they're not family' as a excuse to insinuate something untoward.
When Republicans and conservative point out the irregularities in Jesse Jackson's charities and finances, they are denounced as racists. How dare you insinuat that an African-American of stature might be up to something illicit!?!?!?! Yet, this is the EXACT same situation and the L.A. Times gets a pass.
To me, the premise of the article in LATIMES.COM hints at racism at the L.A. Times.

When Republicans and conservative point out the irregularities in Jesse Jackson's charities and finances, they are denounced as racists. How dare you insinuat that an African-American of stature might be up to something illicit!?!?!?! Yet, this is the EXACT same situation and the L.A. Times gets a pass.
To me, the premise of the article in LATIMES.COM hints at racism at the L.A. Times.
